Ana Maria Cristina Polo Gonzalez has been an Cuban as well as an American TV arbitrator ever since Caso Cerrado. Ana Polo Gonzalez was born and raised in Havana Cuba and moved with her family to Miami in the year two. Ana Maria Polo, born in Habana Cuba, is the host of the famous Telemundo show "Caso Cerrado", which was the first Spanish program to be nominated for a nomination to be awarded a Daytime Entertainment Emmy (r). In 2015, she ranked number one for Spanish at 4pm for key demos. Polo is a native of Cuba who was born on the 11th of April 1959. She went to Florida International University and graduated in political sciences. Later, she received her PhD degree in law from University of Miami. Following her PhD at the University of Miami she practiced law in Miami for over 20 years. Polo first made her appearance on TV in 2001, on Telemundo's Sala de Parejas. She took part in court shows that tapped into her knowledge. Literature Works and Accolades Her 1958 novel Los Hijos Muertos won her both the Critic Prize and Spanish National Prize for Literature. Ana Maria Matute left Spain in 1960 to go to her home in the United States in 1960. Polo, who is also diagnosed with breast cancer and patient who has survived the disease is often quoted about the cause she is fighting. Polo has been an activist in support of LGBT issues. She graduated in 1987 of The University of Miami School of Law and a Florida Bar member.
